Nanotech Industrie Produkte Shore hardness tester is a professional Shore durometer for precise measurement of Shore indentation hardness by Elastomers, plastic, silicone, gel samples, textiles and Leather at the push of a button. This portable Shore Durometer is equipped with a series of precision-engineered Shore Indenter available including A, B, C, D, E, OO, O, DO.

The Shore hardness tester is a professional hardness testing method for measuring the indentation hardness of flexible samples, such as elastomers, and was developed by Mr. Albert Ferdinand Shore.

The Shore hardness testing is carried out by means of the precise measurement of the indentation hardness of a specific Shore Durometer into the surface of a sample, e.g., elastomer, plastic, leather, and similar flexible sample materials, based on Shore hardness scale. The Shore hardness indenter are usually in accordance with the classification according to A, B, C, D, E, OO, O, DO available and are selected according to the sample material to be tested. The measured indentation depth of the Shore Durometer represents the Shore hardness of the sample. The Shore hardness testing is a viscoelastic property of flexible test specimens and sample surfaces.

The Shore hardness testing takes place based on the Shore hardness scales:
