This professional Carney apparatus to determine the Flow rate of powders integrates an ergonomic design with a solid and high quality stainless steel construction combined with a precision machined Carney funnel with a spout opening diameter of 2.5mm (0.1″), a precision manufactured Hall funnel with a spout opening diameter of 5mm (0.2″), a Density cup of 25ml, a digital precision stopwatch and a wide range of accessories including powder overflow container and much more.
A digital precision balance suitable for laboratories is available as an optional accessory.
To ensure high precision, the Carney funnel and the Hall funnel as well as the 25ml density cup each made from a larger piece of stainless steel or brass.

The Carney Flowmeter Test Method is based on the ASTM B417 test standard and is used to measure the flow time of 50g powder, which flows through an outlet opening with a specific diameter.
